Welcome to the Great Lakes Shooting Sports Association!The Great Lakes Shooting Sports Association (GLSSA) is a statewide organization devoted to promoting and protecting firearm and archery sports in Michigan and the surrounding Great Lakes region. GLSSA was started by one of the most experienced teams of shooters and firearm activists in Michigan. This team includes Rosemary DiPonio, Pat Alzady, Steve DeFrain, Doug Carl (of Sports Show Promotions, Michigan's leading gun show promoter) and Rod Collins. GLSSA will publish a bi-monthly magazine compiled by national award wining editor Jim Anderson. GLSSA will also be active in the political venue to protect your rights We have an experienced team that has worked with the legislators in the past to bring about some of the most important changes in Michigan firearm laws. We will be supporting certified firearms instructors with a listing and reference service and support the current Concealed Pistol Licensing law. Our goal is to provide the most current useful information to all of the Great Lakes shooting sports including archery, competitions, collectors, and even just occasional plinkers. No matter what your interests are- Cowboy Action Shooting, Trap & Skeet, IPSC, High Power Rifle, etc- GLSSA will be covering it. GLSSA is pleased to provide a wide range of Products and Services for the Sports Shooter in Michigan and the surrounding Great Lakes region. Come on in and take a look.
